And the snow came...

The rest of the country has been under snow for weeks. We had a sprinkling which went within hours. However, last night it came, with avengence! (though I've got to admit it's rapidly melting now) I've said this before but I can't believe how much warmer it is here than the rest of the country.
Anyway,
before it goes and the school opens again...

New Year!

Well. Here we are in the post naughties (haven't heard the new media term for this decade yet!).

As I said earlier, happy new year. I'm sure it will be fab!

Beautiful day to start the new year off though a bit chilly! Went for a walk along the beach with Lola first thind. The sea was like a mill pond and we followed a pair of redshanks(?) along the waters edge.
Unfortunately I didn't have my phone so no pictures :o(

As soon as we got back we were off to the "new" place! Still very cold but the sun was warm on our faces which made it quite pleasant.
